Basic coated electrode designed for welding various copper and copper–nickel alloys.
Also suitable for joining and surfacing of dissimilar non-ferrous metals.
The tensile strength of the weld is similar to the base material.
Application: electrical connections, metallurgy, shipbuilding, chemical industry.

Clean weld surfaces and cracks from grease.
Use a short arc and keep the electrode slightly inclined (10–20°).
Weld slowly to improve gas release.
Materials up to 5 mm thickness can be welded without preheating using suitable electrode diameter.
Preheat thick parts to ~500°C.
Dry if necessary for 2 hours at 150°C.
